Manasquan Councilman Calls It Quits

A Manasquan Borough Councilman announces his resignation but not before taking a snipe at the current council leadership.

Reports say Donald Grasso attributed his main reason for leaving Monday to "opportunities" that would require his attention and extensive travel.

However, according to the Asbury Park Press, he also issued an e-mail blaming lack of compromise on the council. Mayor George Dempsey called Grasso's ideas 'very good' but says he overestimates the outcome.
