A Manahawkin man will spend the next year behind bars at the Ocean County Jail after violating his probation which has also been terminated.

Following a guilty plea in December, 44-year-old Thomas J. Scalgione was found guilty of a number of violations.

Scalgione pled guilty in December to a 3rd degree Community Supervision for Life (CSL) violation, 4th degree Unlawful Possession of a Police Scanner, 3rd degree to another Community Supervision for Life violation, and another today he pled guilty to violation of probation with crimes cited as 3rd degree theft by deception, and 4th degree Community Supervision for Life violation.

His first CSL indicitment happened around December of 2014 and the second violation in April of 2015.
