Man pinned under car in Berkeley Township crash
A driver was partially ejected and pinned underneath his vehicle following a one-car crash on St. Patrick's Day in Berkeley Township, according to authorities.
57-year-old Michael Graf of Whiting was hospitalized in critical condition Thursday night after driving off westbound Route 530 near Ocean County Airport around 6:15 p.m. and striking guardrails on both sides of the highway, then rolling over, according to Berkeley Police Chief Karin T. Di Michele.
Graf was extricated by the Whiting and Manitou Park Fire Companies and transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.
This crash is under investigation by Berkeley Officer Daniel Williams, The Lacey Township Police, The Ocean Country FAST Team and The Ocean County Sheriff’s Departments Crime Scene Unit.
