Making Memories At First Night Ocean County

Every time I read something about First Night Ocean County I smile.  I was active on the committee that planned the New Year's Eve happenings and remember when it first started in Seaside Heights.  The fact that it's still going strong, giving families an alcohol-free day of fun, fills me with pride.

If you've never attended First Night, I encourage you to give it a try.  For $5 you get a bracelet which gives you admission into a variety of shows and opportunities.  Among the offerings this year:  a balloonist, face painter, magicians, and jugglers.  Plus there's a fireworks show scheduled for 5pm, conditions permitting.
