“Made in Monmouth” Set for Saturday
The 3rd annual “Made in Monmouth” Expo is scheduled for this weekend.
More than 100 county-based businesses are slated to take part in the event – featuring everything from custom furniture and handmade jewelry to locally-made jams and candles.
Monmouth County Freeholder Tom Arnone says it’s also an excellent opportunity for would-be entrepreneurs to see how it’s done.
“I have a hunch that some of the people that come and visit for the day look and say, ‘Wow, you know I had an idea to do something and I never thought it could work,'” Arnone said.
The event is free to the public and it runs from 10:00am until 4:00pm on Saturday, April 12, 2014. It will be held at Monmouth University’s MAC Center on Larchwood Avenue.
