Luring incident under investigation in Point Pleasant

Point Pleasant Police are investigating an attempted luring, according to the Department's Facebook page.

A man driving a newer model white van approached a 15-year-old girl walking on Herbertsville Road between Riverwood and Hillside Avenues on October 27, around 3:35 p.m. and asked her if she needed a ride, according to authorities.

Police describe the suspect as being a skinny white man between the ages of 30 and 40, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He also had an accent.

The van had driver and passenger side windows with light tint, but no side or back windows. There was green and blue writing on the side of the van.
