Two distribution centers are still open in Hazlet and Oceanport for those affected by Superstorm Sandy.

The two distribution sites are:

• Holy Family Church – 910 Route 36 Hazlet

• Monmouth Park – Oceanport Ave., Oceanport

The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office says both sites will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The donation center set up at Thompson Park in Lincroft located at 805 Newman Springs Rd. will be accepting donations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, as well.

Towels and blankets are among the most frequently sought items. Other items still needed include: batteries (particularly D and C), work gloves & rubber gloves, rakes, shovels, goggles, heavy duty trash bags, mops, brooms, sponges, hand sanitizer, dish and laundry detergent.
