Look What Washed Up On The Beach On Long Beach Island!

This is a really cool story. According to a report from the Asbury Park Press, a Long Beach Island resident found a special message. Vincent Strango of LBI found a message in a bottle...literally. The Ocean County man said head unplugged the bottle he found on the beach and read the message which invited him to contact the sender. It turns out the message was written by a man from England who tossed the bottle for fun while sailing aboard the Queen Elizabeth on a world tour.

Strango did reach out and the two men have connected, all because of his "message in the bottle" ... can you hear Sting singing that in your head?

By the way, almost 30 years ago I wrote my Wife a "message in a bottle" and that bottle remains sealed and maybe we'll open it in another 20 years ... she has know idea what I wrote and I can't remember what I wrote either lol
