I basically grew up going to the beach on Long Beach Island ... and still Ship Bottom is my summer beach! That's why I am not surprised that LBI made the list of the Top 10 "Family" beaches in America. It's a perfect place for the entire family and the beaches are great. That being said, LBI is a quieter beach with no boardwalk and for some they enjoy the "beach & boards" combo ... but if your looking for pure beach then LBI is a must for you!
