It's a snow day this Thursday for much of New Jersey- which means there's lots of binge-watching ahead. Netflix has dropped news on a couple of older favorites who are coming back.

First off, a 'Magic School Bus' reboot is rolling forward, with SNL star Kate McKinnon voicing Ms. Frizzle! The computer-animated series won't stray too far from its 90's roots- bringing students on field trips to outer space and inside the human body.

Much sooner, Bill Nye returns to TV this spring. A star-studded trailer for 'Bill Nye Saves the World' is out (featuring NJ native, Zach Braff!) ahead of that Netflix series debut in April.

Rutgers University has announced Steven Van Zandt as graduation speaker for the May ceremony in New Brunswick. 'Little Steven' is (of course) famous as guitarist for the E Street Band alongside Bruce Springsteen. Van Zandt also helped make pop culture history on HBO's “The Sopranos.”

Spinal Tap has filed a $400-million lawsuit over unpaid royalties. Actors Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and director Rob Reiner have joined a suit filed by Harry Shearer against media company, Vivendi. They claim they were given only $81 in merchandising income and $98 in music sales, stemming from the 80's 'rockumentary'.

Let's think warm thoughts! Blondie & Garbage are coming to NJ on a summer tour. The co-headlining 'Rage and Rapture' tour will play Count Basie theater on July 28! They also play the Beacon Theater in Manhattan and the Mann Center in Philly in August
