My love for Spandau Ballet dates back to about 1980 when I heard their music played on a college radio station in NYC.  I was drawn to their unique synth sounds and infectious dance grooves.  Then in 1983, their music reached the masses with the ballad "True" becoming huge hit around the globe.  If you go to the Spandau show tomorrow (Friday, May 1st) at the Count Basie Theatre, you'll enjoy two hours of excellent music, led by Tony Hadley's powerful vocals, and featuring the many musical talents of Steve Norman who I had the pleasure of interviewing.  During the first part of our three-part conversation, he dispels the myth that Spandau is a "one hit wonder."
