While you're walking through the kennel, please stop and take notice of gentle, sweet, quiet Steffi. This 4 year old girl doesn't jump up and down or bark to get herself noticed, she simply holds up a paw, in the hopes that you'll notice her and ask to meet her. She is such an absolute darling and it's just amazing how very nice she is when she was treated so poorly by her former owner. Steffi was one of several dogs that were removed from very harsh and cruel conditions at a terrible place in Newark. She was neglected terribly and it she spent some time getting back on her feet and now, she's like a brand new dog. She absolutely, positively loves people and couldn't be any sweeter. She is strong and active, but very well behaved and gentle. She has had some bad experiences with other dogs in the past so a home where she is the only pet is best for Steffi. You will surely love this sweetheart if you just give her the chance.
