One of the icons of television is coming to Ocean County. Alan Alda, Hawkeye Pierce of MASH, is going to be appearing at the Grunin Center for the Arts in Toms River on Tuesday, September 12th. Alda will be promoting his latest work his novel "If I Understood You, Would I Have This Look on My Face?".

His book and lecture will focus on communicating and building better relationships. I hope to be on-hand for this fantastic lecture.

The event is sponsored by Community Medical Center & Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus ... part of the RWJ Barnabas Health System. The event will be a fundraiser to aid two fantastic organizations here at the Jersey Shore.... Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey and Friends' Health Connection.

Tickets are available by visiting www.grunincenter.org or by calling 732-255-0500.
