Paul E. Robinson, 24, of Toms River, was charged Monday along with Rufus A. Young, 41, of Freehold, and Pedro A. Valentin, Jr., 23, of Perth Amboy in connection with the death of Jamie Caravella, 23, on February 6, 2013.

All three are charged with first-degree, strict-liability drug-induced death and second-degree aggravated manslaughter. Bail for each was set at $200,000.

Authorities say a "critical" piece of evidence which surfaced during Caravella's autopsy provided the means to pursue the arrests, but they have yet to identify it publicly.
