Landlord and Tenant Seminar this Friday at the Ocean County Courthouse
What happens when a tenant and landlord disagree on something and it makes its way to the courts? What do you do if that happens? Experts from the South Jersey Legal services will explain just that in a free public seminar on Friday, July 28th from 10 a.m. until noon.
Bring pens and papers, and your questions to the Ocean County Court house on Friday, July 28th for a seminar that will benefit both Tenants and Landlords. This informational event will explain the legal ins and outs from both sides of the aisle.
Questions are encouraged, but individual cases will not be discussed. Topics include how to file a complaint, complaint and service requirements, what to expect in court, grounds for eviction, the mediation process, habitability, leases, repairs and rent, warrants of removal and the Security Deposit Act.
While the seminar is free and open to the public, reservations are requested because of a limited amount of space. For more information and to save your spot contact the vicinage’s Legal Research and Information Center at 732-929-2063 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
