Police say they charged George Reid with burglary and theft Monday after one of the officers watching surveillance video from Circa Pizzeria recognized him.

According to police, Reid was observed using a brick to crash through a display window of the Cedarbridge Avenue business and leaving with the boxes in hand.

He was arrested in front of the VIP Chinese Restaurant on Main Street. A judge in Toms River set bail at $5,000 with no option for release on payment of 10 percent.
