Lakewood BOE to Move to High School
The Lakewood Board of Education votes to move its offices out of its Madison Avenue location and occupy space in the township’s high school. According to the Lakewood Scoop, it’s an austerity move aimed at saving $40,000 a month and nearly $500,000 dollars annually. The board will be renovating a 7-thousand square foot space and expect to move in during the summer break. Board meetings will be held in the high school cafeteria.
