Lakewood Board Changes Mind On School Elections

The Lakewood School Board makes another startling about face on its board and budget elections.

The Asbury Park Press reports that five members of the nine-member board Monday held an emergency meeting to overturn last week's vote to move the elections to November.

This is the third time the board has voted on the election date making it the only township in the county not moving its elections.
