Lacey Woman Hit By Car On Route 9

A Lacey woman is in critical condition after being struck by a car on Route 9 Saturday night.

The Asbury Park Press reports 49 year old Juliann Plaschke was trying to cross the highway at First Street around 10:45 p.m. when she was hit by a car.

57 year old Regine Burus, of Bayville, was behind the wheel of the car, but it is unclear if he will face charges.

Plaschke was flown to Jersey Shore Medical Center, and is in stable but critical condition.

The accident is under investigation.
