Judge Denies Conflict of Interest Allegations

An Ocean County Superior Court judge is defending herself after allegations of a coverup.  The Asbury Park Press reports say Melanie Donohue Appleby admits she did preside over cases where there was a conflict of interest.

However, she denies covering it up. The issue was over her ex-husband's child support payments.

A probe is now underway.
