The New York Giants website tells the whole story of how the rocker, and big football fan (so big that he even owned The Philadelphia Soul arena football team for a while) managed to watch a game between the Giants and Cowboys from the sidelines without being recognized by the tens of thousands of fans in attendance.

Along with Giants punter Sean Landeta, the Giants public relations director at the time, and an experienced Giants photog, they managed to get Jon into the game unrecognized to watch his favorite team from the best seat in the house.

Actually, he wasn't totally unrecognized, a cheerleader almost blew his cover.
