With some jaw dropping photos to share with the public, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst's 305th Air Mobility Wing took part in an exercise this week, showing the capabilities of the Air Force's refueling fleet.

Sending out almost half a dozen KC-10 refueling tankers from the base to meet up with a massive B-52 long range bomber over Greenland, we're getting a look today at the stunning view from the boom operator's seat thousands of feet above the Earth.

Operation Polar Roar was an exercise designed to show the military's ability to refuel planes like the iconic B-52 anywhere in the world.
