Job Ordinances Fail Brick Council Vote

Brick Township's two ordinances to cut eight administrative positions and add three new ones will not be happening as the Council fails to overturn Mayor Steve Acropolis' veto.

At last night's Council meeting, Council President John Ducey needed a super majority vote but didn't get it according to the Patch of Brick.

One of the council members did change his vote from last month but another had to abstain from voting after being advised by an attorney.
