Great Day In Seaside Heights

"Pride" is a good way to reflect how I felt Friday morning when we began the first of a Summer long series of broadcasts from Seaside Heights! The Term "Jersey Strong" has never been more true then yesterday as I watched people working to "Restore The Shore"

Throughout the show we saw workers building, shop owners opening their doors and people coming to the beach and boardwalk! Truly remarkable when you think this only about 8 months since Superstorm Sandy ravaged our State! While we do know many of our neighbors, friends and families , who were devastated by the storm, are still working to rebuild or restart their lives....it is fantastic to see the pride and strength we have here at the Jersey Shore!

Townsquare Media launched our brand new Smart Center Studios ... Powered by Jersey Central Power and Light on the boardwalk at Lincoln Avenue. A perfect venue for us to bring radio to the people here at the Jersey Shore! We plan to continue to bring you information and resources to help as we continue the rebuilding process, but you can see it happening and that's a blessing.

We also plan to continue to fund-raise at our beach location with the "Restore The Shore Car" Stop by , make a donation ...and possibly WIN the fantastic vehicle :)
