BRICK TOWNSHIP’S ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY PARADE IS MONDAY, MAY 30TH. THE PARADE STEPS OFF AT 10AM AT THE OLD FOODTOWN PARKING LOT, GOES WEST ON 70, THEN UP CHAMBERS BRIDGE ROAD.  THE PARADE CONCLUDES AT THE MUNICIPAL COMPLEX WITH A MEMORIAL PROGRAM IN OBVERSVANCE OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF OUR COUNTRY.

Tuesday, May 31^st … Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore holds a Princess Party Recruitment Night at Lacey Community Hall on Lacey Road at Route 9 in Forked River from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. for girls in grades K-12 including special needs. Saturday, June 11^th … Enjoy a day of events starting with a brunch at the Stafford Fire House for area residents age 70 or older followed by a parade that kicks off at 10 a.m. and runs along Stafford Avenue to Route 9. Activities at the Doc Cramer Sports Complex starting at 2 p.m. include entertainment, crafts. The Little Miss Stafford/Little Town Crier Contest, Pie Eating Contest, the Miss Stafford Pageant, DJ Dance Party, inflatable, mechanical and train rides and games. Fireworks end the day at dusk.

The 11^th Annual Red, White and Brew “Kick Off Summer” Wine Tasting Event will take place Wednesday, June 8^th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Toms River Country Club ….
