The American Cancer Society holds their annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer at Ocean and Arnold Avenues in Point Pleasant Beach starting with registration at 8 a.m. The non-competitive walk raises awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer and brings people together to make a difference for everyone who has been touched by breast cancer. The Berkeley Township Volunteer Firefighter's Memorial hosts a Spaghetti Dinner and Gift Auction at the Holiday City South Clubhouse on Mule Road in Toms River starting at 2 p.m. Funds raised are being used to purchase a bronze firefighter statue to complete the Volunteer Firefighter's Memorial site at Veteran's Park in Bayville.
