Saturday, October 28^th … Toms River High School North Nautical Star Theatre Company presents their fall play Stronger than the Storm, Superstorm Sandy 5 Years Later at the school’s auditorium on Old Freehold Road in Toms River at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. This student-written show is based on true accounts from Shore families affected by Superstorm Sandy and centers on the theme of hope and how, no matter what, we are stronger than the storm. Toms River Fire Company #1 holds their 79th annual Halloween Parade starting at the Toms River Shopping on Route 37 at Route 166 at 7 p.m. The parade goes down Main Street and ends at the corner of Washington Street and Hooper Avenue.
