Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week Schedule Announced

The Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week returns this fall with a Week Zero matchup between Brick Memorial and Central among nine Friday Night games to be broadcast live on 92.7 WOBM and featuring video streaming on shoresportsnetwork.com.

The season opener on August 31^st will find Walt Currie’s Mustangs traveling to Central to take on Justin Fumando’s Golden Eagles in a meeting of teams who shared the Class “A South” championship last season.  The two are no longer division rivals as part of the Shore Conference football realignment with Brick Memorial in the Colonial Division and Central a part of the American Division.

This is the first time in many years the Friday Night radio schedule will be carried exclusively on 92.7 WOBM with all the games originating from Ocean County.

There is one exception as part of the schedule already announced and that is the broadcast of the traditional Thanksgiving Day meeting between Wall and Manasquan which will be heard on Beach Radio 1160/1310AM.  Other games, including the NJSIAA Playoffs, could be added at a later date.

Townsquare Media’s Shore Sports Network is adding live video streaming to the weekly schedule through shoresportsnetwork.com and the free Shore Sports Network app.  The games can be watched live and will also be archived on the website for later viewing as well.

Award-winning broadcaster Matt Harmon returns as the play-by-play voice of high school football and will be joined by longtime partners Kevin Williams and Ed Sarluca.  Vin Ebenau and Brad Burascano make up the Shore Sports Network broadcast team.

The football broadcasts are presented by Jersey Mike’s…Be A Sub Above and powered by Toyota World of Lakewood.
