Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week: Brick at Long Branch

The Central Jersey Group 4 championship will be on the line Friday when Brick visits Long Branch in the Jersey Mike’s Game of the Week which will be broadcast live on 92.7 WOBM and shoresportsnetwork.com.
The Green Wave (9-1) are the defending sectional champions and ranked third in the Shore Sports Network/Jeep Store Top Ten. Led by QB/DB Marc Dennis, running back Jermaine Corbett, linebacker Luke Arnold and two-way lineman Kevin Cerruti they have lost only to Red Bank Catholic and won their 9 games by an average of 30 points per game.
The 5th ranked Green Dragons (8-2) are peaking at the right time and riding a five-game winning streak. Finally, healthy Brick boasts two-way standouts Jimmy Leblo (QB/CB), Anthony Prato (WR/S) and Joe Carchio (RB/LB) as well as tackling machine Richie Tallmadge. Brick is seeking their 8th sectional crown having last won it in 2013.
Kickoff is 7pm and the game can be heard live on 92.7 WOBM with a live video stream at shoresportsnetwork.com as well as the Shore Sports Network app. Friday Night Football is presented by Jersey Mike’s…”be a sub above” and powered by Toyota World of Lakewood. Kickoff is 7pm from Bresett Stadium.
