“Jacquie Lee may have saved the best for last,” said 94-3 The Point morning show host Lou Russo who has been closely following the competition all season as the 16-year-old advanced through the competition.

Russo was most impressed with her duet with coach Christina Aguilera of “We Remain” from soundtrack of “The Hunger Games.” “Christina is widely considered one of the best voices in the industry, and Jacquie had absolute no problem matching her note for note, a feat that a majority of current pop stars could never achieve,” said Russo.

Aguilera heaped praise on Lee as well after her performance of Jennifer Hudson’s And I Am Telling You.  ‘I’m completely speechless. The amount of talent you have in that little body for being 16 years old is unbelievable. I literally can’t believe what I just witnessed.

Lee went up against Tessanne Chin of Jamaica and Will Champlin of Los Angeles in the first night of the show’s season finale.

Voting is on until 11 a.m. on a number of platforms. Jacquie’s dad Richard says that the contestant who has the most cumulative iTunes sales (from the beginning of the competition) will get a multiplier bonus of votes for the finale.
