Jackson Township Police wrap up drug investigation with two arrests Tuesday

Police in Jackson Township have wrapped up a narcotics investigation with the arrest of two men around 4 am on Tuesday morning who face a number of drug possession and related charges.

A search of a Prospect Pointe Apartment on Brewers Bridge Road by police uncovered seven ounces of marijuana, scales, packaging equipment, over $1,000.00 in cash, a stun gun and a Zastava 5.56 mm rifle with ammunition.

37-year old Tokeeyyo T. Hamilton faces the greater amount of charges for his alleged activity into possible drug dealing.

Police have charged Hamilton with possession of an assault weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, certain persons not to possess weapons, possession of a weapon while distributing CDS, possession of a high capacity magazine, possession of a stun gun, possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute over an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His alleged accomplice, 27-year old Niquan Milligan is being charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Hamilton remains in the Ocean County Jail and Milligan was released on a summons pending a future court appearance.

Police remind the public that anyone arrested or charged with any offenses or crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
