Concerns expressed included the utility structure, the lack of fire sprinklers and a fear over the reduction of the township's tax base.

Residents also tell the Asbury Park Press they are worried about increased traffic and the effect the school's septic system  will have on their wells. “We’re going to lose everything if this goes through,” nearby resident Kelly Giglio told the newspaper. . “If something, God forbid, happened where (the septic system) ruptured … our properties would be condemned.”

The company desiging the school says it would produce the same amount of sewage as seven homes.

Parents of students attending the Oros Bais Yaakov school are pleased with the quality of the school's education and look forward to being able to move from a rented facility in Lakewood.

Another hearing and public comment session will be held April 2nd
