Jackson Police are looking for the intruder who came face-to-face with a township resident in his home Tuesday.

Police say a heavy-set, black male suspect, with short hair, entered a home Oxford Road through a rear window when the doorbell went unanswered at around 10 a.m.

Police say as the homeowner when downstairs, the suspect was confronted in the hallway. They say the suspect asked the resident if they could use the phone but the ho

meowner told him to get out. The suspect fled the scene in a silver or gray Cadillac Sedan with unknown New Jersey license plates.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the suspect or vehicle in the area or has additional information on this incident, to contact Jackson Police Officer Michael Grochowski or Detective Robert Reiff at 732-928-1111.
