Jackson Police have made an arrest following the discovery of a bullet-riddled Jackson man inside a township restaurant.

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says Hector Calderon, 47 is charged with murder in the death of Peyman Sanandaji, 34 and was arrested early Friday morning without incident at his Freehold Borough home.

Calderon shot Sanandaji during an "altercation" at the Casanova Restorante in the Romeo's Plaza shopping center on South New Prospect Road. Police responded around 11 p.m. to find Sanandaji inside the eatery; he died later from the multiple gunshot wounds.

The Prosecutor's Office offered no details on what led to the shooting or why Sanandaji was at the closed business.

Calderon is charged with murder, possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. He is being held on $1 million bail at the Ocean County Jail.
