Jackson Man Arrested for Assaulting Former Girlfriend and Police
A Jackson man faces charges in Monmouth County for allegedly attacking his former girlfriend and two police officers during a domestic dispute in Englishtown.
Police say two Patrolmen arrived at an Oxford Court residence Sunday morning following 9-1-1 calls about yells and screams for help.
43-year-old Kevin Kearny was arrested at the scene and faces 13 charges that include Attempted Murder, numerous Assault charges, Contempt of a Court Order, Burglary and Weapons counts.
Police say the 48-year-old female was treated and released at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold.
Kearney is being held in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold Township, on $650,000.00 bail with no 10 percent option.
