Is This One of the Worst National Anthem Performances Ever? [Video]

The sports landscape is littered with bad renditions of the Star Spangled Banner. Being off key (to be polite) is one thing, but not even knowing the words is quite a different thing.

It's fair enough to point out that the performer at this recent Junior Hockey Championship is Canadian. I mean hey, if you asked me to sing the Canadian National Anthem I'd be at a complete loss. But you'd think that Alexis Normand would rehearse in advance and, if she was uncomfortable with how well she knew the song, was nervous, etc, she's arrange for a teleprompter, cue cards, or heck even write it on her hand.

But no, she decided to wing it. And the results weren't pretty. Watch for yourself:
