Is it Too Soon for Christmas Lights?

As I was driving my daughter to dance the other night, Christmas lights were up and twinkling away.  I can't remember seeing them up so early.

I usually put our lights up Thanksgiving weekend.  But, for my daughter is was the best thing she could have seen.  Her little eyes lit up and we put on a Christmas CD and totally felt the Christmas spirit.  So, to you the houses that have the lights up for the season, "Thank you," for the smiles we had in the car last night.

Is it too soon for Christmas lights?  When do you put yours up?
