The smoke free workplace has been around for quite some time now, and that's understandable from a health standpoint, but what would you think of a "fragrance free workplace"?

According to USAToday, an increasing number of workplaces are banning people from wearing perfumes, colognes, and heavily scented cosmetics.

We've all had that co-worker or client visit the office who lays on the scents just a little too heavily. While it can be unpleasant, is making it out to be a public health danger a bit too alarmist?

According to the article, an allergist goes so far as to say, "I equate it with cigarette smoke".

What do you think, is a "fragrance free workplace" overkill or is it common courtesy? Vote below and feel free to leave a comment to let us know what you think!
