Is a “Fragrance Free Workplace” Overkill? [Poll]
The smoke free workplace has been around for quite some time now, and that’s understandable from a health standpoint, but what would you think of a “fragrance free workplace”?
According to USAToday, an increasing number of workplaces are banning people from wearing perfumes, colognes, and heavily scented cosmetics.
We’ve all had that co-worker or client visit the office who lays on the scents just a little too heavily. While it can be unpleasant, is making it out to be a public health danger a bit too alarmist?
According to the article, an allergist goes so far as to say, “I equate it with cigarette smoke“.
