A Middletown man heads to trial for a fatal 2011 DWI boat crash in the Navesink River. A Monmouth County Grand Jury indicted 41-year-old  with vehicular homicide.The Prosecutors Office says Harrington was operating the boat while impaired with four people on board when he crashed into another vessel with two people, killing a 50 year old Keansburg man.

Harrington was issued summonses for operating a vessel under the influence of alcohol, refusal to submit to chemical breath testing, failure to maintain a proper lookout, reckless operation of a vessel and for operating a vessel without a boating safety certificate. He was released after posting 10 percent of a $150,000 bail.

If convicted of vehicular homicide, Harrington faces a maximum sentence of ten years in New Jersey State Prison, subject to the provisions of the "No Early Release Act"
