Illegal Handgun and Warrant Leads to the Arrest of Freehold Man

The discovery of a handgun and ammunition inside a car leads to the Memorial day arrest of a Freehold man. Ocean Township Police say the arrest of 33 year-old Tamer Ayyash was made shortly after he was stopped near the Asbury Park Circle at around 7:38 p.m.. They also discovered that Ayyash was the subject of aan active bench warrent . He was released on $1,000 bail pending a court hearing.
