Hadassah Krone, age 3, of Seventh Street, was pronounced dead a the spot where paramedics where summoned Thursday at 12:23 PM, according to the office of Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato, which identified the driver of the Ford F550 truck as Chayim Goodman, 47, of Forest Avenue.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the youngster's bicycle traveled from the driveway of her house into the street, into the path of the vehicle.

Goodman allowed his cellular device to be searched, and police found nothing to indicate that it was in use at the time. He also voluntarily underwent a blood test at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.

Authorities said that the toddler entered the road "without warning," alluding to the possibility that the proximity left no sufficient braking time or distance.

Among the factors yet to be disclosed are the truck's speed, the line of visibility from the road to the driveway, street conditions, and whether the child was under any supervision by parents, family or guardians.
