Yep I’m corny and love groovy!  I love old sayings, it brings me back to my days when my Nana lived next door to us.  So there’s probably never a day that goes by that I don’t say one of these old phrases or words.

Here’s a couple of them to take us back to our youth:

“The Bees Knees”

“I’ll Be There With Bells On.”

Jeepers

Swell

Nifty

Groovy

“Holy Smokes”

“The Cats Meow”

“Gag Me With A Spoon”

“A Good Egg”

Lickety-Split

Toodle-loo

“What The Heck”

What are your favorite old phrases or words that you just love?  Do you still use them?  Do you say them to your kids and they look at you like you’re crazy?
