The girls met online, drawn by their music taste, love of local bands and the Jersey Shore. They say with the help of their family and the New Jersey Amusement Association, they were able to put the concert together in two weeks.

Amanda says, "The main band which is Honor Society, actually toured with the Jonas Brothers, so we were lucky to get them and they have a smaller band who are under the same management which is Kicking Daises. We also have Reverse Order, who was seen on America's Got Talent and then we have two smaller bands who are new and are trying to make a big appearance, The Dedication and Over the Edge. We also have a very special guest coming."

When asking why the girl's decided to take on the task?

Sara says, "Since the hurricane destroyed a lot of homes and our friends houses are gone and the boardwalk is gone, we figured it would be really fun if we put together a bunch of good bands and brought the community together to help raise money."

Proceeds from the concert are going to the New Jersey Amusement Association 1st Responders Fund and to the Toms River Regional Schools Hurricane Response Fund.

Pier Pressure takes place this Saturday, December 1st at Toms River Intermediate East. Doors Open: at 5:45 pm. The Concert starts at 6:30 pm. You can get general admission tickets or VIP tickets that come with lots of perks.

Tickets are available online.
