Howell Township search uncovers prescription med stash

A Howell Township 20-year-old is held on $100,000 bail after being found with a trove of marijuana, pills, packaging items and cash, according to township police.

Alexander Slutsky was arrested early today, following an investigation into reports of drug peddling and a subsequent search of his dwelling on Lexington Road.

Investigators said that they recovered more than a pound of marijuana, about 385 Xanax tablets, about $6,500 cash, and various items associated with distribution.

Slutsky was transferred to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold to await arraignment.
