A new survey from CarInsurance.com ranks New Jersey's license plate as the 39th most appealing in the nation.

Around 2,000 respondents participated in the report, which rated Wyoming as the most attractive plate and Delaware as the ugliest.

In fact, Wyoming's design of a cowboy riding a bucking horse drew nearly nearly a third of voters ranking it among their top five.

As for New Jersey's neighbors, they didn't manage to crack the better half of the list. New York came in at 46th, while Pennsylvania fared slightly better at 33rd.

The survey focused on standard-issued plates and not special ones, such as NJ's 'Shore to Please' design.
