Honda Dealership In Lakewood Donates 75 Turkey Dinners

Seventy-five families in Lakewood who have fallen on hard times are receiving some holiday help from Honda Universe of Lakewood in the form of a turkey dinner complete with the trimmings.

The dinners were given out Saturday, and recipients were chosen with help from Lakewood’s SAVE Program.

The meal includes a frozen turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and corn.

Honda Universe General Sales Manager James Fredrick says that for the company, helping the community is an important thing, so much so that “this is something that we actually budget to actually support, so it is something the dealership is actually paying for.”

Fredrick says the dealership is pledging to make the donations a yearly event.
