In Barnegat The Lillian M. Dunfee Elementary School will be having a Kick off Parade to promote a positive school and community partnership on Friday, September 20th at 9:15.  Parents are welcome to cheer them on from the sidewalk on the parade route which is School to Bayside to Beacon, to Compass, back to Bayside and back up the driveway.  Highlights for the parade are the High School Band, Drake the Dragon and Their wonderful, dedicated Police Dept and Fire Dept.

Saturday, September 21st .... Join the WOBM Hometown Crew at the 36th Annual Pt. Pleasant Seafood Festival in Downtown Pt. Pleasant Beach from 10am-7pm!  Sample dishes by area's finest restaurants, from Clam Chowder to Lobster, to Steak, even Desserts!!!! Enjoy Arts and Crafts vendors, pony rides, Kiddie games, live entertainment and more. Voted Best Seafood Festival in Ocean County by the Asbury Park Press Readers Year after Year!!!!  Stop by the WOBM Tent for your chance to sample the nTH Degree and enter to win tickets to Six Flags Fright Fest!

St. Francis of Assisi Parish will be celebrating the feast of their patron
saint on Saturday, October 5 at 10:00 am (rain or shine) with the annual Blessing of the Animals on the lawn in front of St. Francis of Assisi Church located at 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach. The friars will say a few brief words about our animal friends and then the animals will be blessed and presented with a special Francis medal to put on their collar or cage. St Mary's by the Sea Episcopal Church in Point Pleasant will Host a Rummage Sale on Thursday, October 10th from 9 am to 2 pm and Friday, October 11th from 9 am to 1 pm

St. Francis Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Saturday, October 12, 5:30 – 8:00 PM, at the St. Francis Community Center Gym, 4700 Long
