Home Burglary Suspect On The Loose In Brick

Brick Police are investigating two daytime burglaries that occurred on Tuesday to residential homes.

Capt. Robert Mazza says the suspect(s) entered the first home on Tiller Lane by smashing the rear door to unlock it. The master bedroom was ransacked and it is unknown if anything was taken. The burglary occurred between 9:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

The second location was on Seaview Ave in the Seaview Village Senior Complex. The suspect smashed the rear window of the residence to gain entry. The bedroom dresser and television stand were ransacked. A lock box and jewelry box of costume jewelry were removed.

A witness told police they saw a white man, around 30 years old, exiting a garage in the senior complex around noon. He was carrying a small bag and box, then left in a gray vehicle.
