Joining the candidate are former U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu; Princeton University Molecular Biology Department Chair Bonnie Bassler; Princeton University Energy and Environment Professor Emily Carter; Philip Kellman, director of UClA's Human Perception Lab; Columbia University Neuroscience Professor Carol Mason; and journalist Glenn Greenwald.

Two weeks remain until the special primary voting for the late Frank Lautenberg's Senate seat. Holt is competing against fellow Representative Frank Pallone, Newark Mayor Cory Booker, and New Jersey State Assembly Leader Sheila Oliver.
