Hit-and-run accident under investigation in South Toms River

A vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident on Route 9 in South Toms River this morning is located, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office has confirmed.  

A pedestrian was struck near the corner of Route 9 and Dover Road, according to authorities.

The Garden State Parkway northbound entrance ramp was closed during the investigation.
